Pentatonix est un groupe vocal originaire d’Arlington au Texas, composé de cinq chanteurs : Kevin Olusola, Kirstin Maldonado, Mitch Grassi, Avi Kaplan (qui a quitté le groupe en mai 2017), Matthew Sallee (depuis fin 2017) et Scott Hoying, formé en 2011, avant les auditions pour l’émission The Sing-Off de la chaîne américaine NBC. Le groupe remporte cette 3e édition, avec un prix de 200 000 USD et un contrat chez Sony.
