Benjamin Schiff Platt (né le 24 septembre 1993) est un acteur, chanteur et auteur-compositeur américain. Il a commencé sa carrière d’acteur dans le théâtre musical alors qu’il était enfant et est apparu dans les productions de The Sound of Music (2006) et The Book of Mormon (2012-2015). Il doit surtout sa renommé pour avoir créé le rôle-titre dans la comédie musicale Dear Evan Hansen (2015-2017). Sa performance lui a valu de nombreuses distinctions, dont un Tony, un Emmy et un Grammy Award. À 23 ans, Platt est devenu le plus jeune récipiendaire solo du Tony Award du meilleur acteur dans un rôle principal dans une comédie musicale. Platt a repris le rôle d’Evan Hansen dans l’adaptation cinématographique de la comédie musicale en 2021.
